You know how people often talk about the "peak" time for the autumn colours? This year at the farm we call "Biscuits!", that peak happened on 16 October, and it was wonderful. A few days before that, the leaves were showing more and more yellows and reds and oranges, but when the sun came out bright and strong on that special day, the colours were spectacular.
The view from our garden at that special day last week when the colours of autumn were at their very brightest. That's the shoreline of Newcombe Lake.
Mike, this is a beautiful photo.I love the view from that spot any time of the year. But in autumn it is certainly most spectacular. Thanks for sharing.
